People International, Inc. Celebrates Unforgettable “Life’s What You Make It” Show, Raising $1,045 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville

Clarksville, TN – September 14, 2024 – People International, Inc. (Pii) is thrilled to announce the success of their 2024 “Life’s What You Make It” live music and dance show, which raised $1,045 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville. Despite an unexpected power outage just 30 minutes before the show, the event proved to be one of the most memorable in the organization’s history.

Pii Conference 2024 faced an unexpected challenge when a power outage struck just before the show was set to begin. However, in true Pii spirit, the group quickly adapted and decided to perform a completely “unplugged” version of the show. Stripped of microphones, flashy lights, and technical equipment, the performance showcased the raw talent and resilience of the group, delivering an intimate and powerful experience for the audience.

“Despite the technical difficulties, this show has been hailed by our members—both new and veteran—as one of the most impactful performances they’ve ever been a part of,” said Jordan Neel of People International, Inc. “This year’s event was a testament to the strength, adaptability, and heart of our community.”

Throughout the week leading up to the show, members of People International participated in workshops, volunteered, mentored each other, and engaged in team-building activities that fostered deep connections and personal growth. The Pii Conference is more than just a performance—it’s a week of camaraderie, support, and shared passion for music and dance.

For many new members, the conference provided a space to rediscover their love for performing and to forge lasting bonds within the Pii community. The success of this year’s event, despite the obstacles, underscores the enduring spirit and mission of People International, which has been enriching communities through song, dance, and service since 1969.
